In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine cult.

The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana together with multiple items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
